Florida does not require a state-issued locksmith license for businesses or technicians — there is no state licensing board, exam, or registration for locksmith work. A 2025 bill (HB 1311) that would have created one died in committee, and a separate 2025 state law actually eliminated the county-level locksmith licenses that used to exist (e.g. Miami-Dade, Hillsborough). Locksmiths only need standard business registration.

“Oh my goodness I can not express how amazing this company is , my daughter lost her key at 11:30 they were at my house and gone by 12pm with a brand new key with lock unlock and panic button a better looking key then what came with the car in 2017 5 plus plus plus starts definitely will recommend them to any of my friends clients for car , new home lock changes etc wow!! Was totally impressed….. and very kind and professional….thank you so much ….”
