1. What this site is — and is not

LocksmithWiki is an independent directory. We do not perform locksmith services, employ any listed technician, dispatch work, process payments, or act as a party to any transaction between you and a listed business. Each listed company is an independent business solely responsible for its own work, pricing, conduct, licensing, and compliance with applicable law.

2. No warranty; limitation of liability

Listings, ratings, and verification notes are provided for general information only, on an “as is” basis, without warranty of any kind. We make no warranty regarding the quality, safety, timeliness, pricing, or outcome of services performed by any listed business. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LocksmithWiki is not liable for any dispute, damage, loss, injury, or claim of any kind arising from your contact with, hiring of, or interaction with a listed business. Your agreement is with the locksmith you hire — not with us.

3. Disputes belong to you and the business

We do not mediate or arbitrate disputes between customers and listed businesses. We may review customer reports and supporting information to decide whether a listing should be updated, temporarily hidden, or removed. Positive and negative feedback can inform that assessment; submitting a report does not establish a violation or create an obligation for us to resolve your dispute or obtain compensation on your behalf.

4. Verification and listings

Listings are assessed against our published verification criteria using public sources and, where needed, documents and explanations supplied by the company. We review business details, direct contacts, services and service areas, license and insurance claims, and available review and complaint history. Where a license or insurance claim rests on the company's own statement, the profile shows that status and does not present it as verified. Companies are not published if their identity or direct contact details cannot be confirmed or material inconsistencies remain unresolved.

Verified means that a company met our criteria at the time of review. It does not guarantee future conduct, service quality, pricing, availability, or outcomes, and does not imply endorsement by Google, BBB, or another source. A listing is not permanent. New information, changes in operations, loss of required credentials, or substantiated customer concerns may trigger another review at any time.

We may update, temporarily hide, or remove a listing without prior notice when information is inaccurate, our criteria are no longer met, or verifiable circumstances indicate a significant risk to customers. A listing may be hidden while a complaint is reviewed. A company may submit explanations and supporting documents for reconsideration, without any guarantee of reinstatement. No company can pay to be listed, ranked higher, or kept listed.

5. Ratings and reviews

Ratings come from the third-party sources identified on each listing and may change. A profile, rating, or accreditation on another platform does not replace our own assessment. We consider available positive and negative reviews and direct customer reports; unsubstantiated allegations are not treated as established violations. Review excerpts on this site are verbatim quotes in the reviewer's original language from the platform where they were posted — not machine translations or editorial rewrites. Always confirm the final price with the locksmith before work begins.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to scrape this site for resale, submit false feedback, impersonate a business, or use the site to harass any listed company or individual.

7. Changes

We may update these terms at any time; the effective date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
